Connect Datadog to Lutril

Lutril needs both a Datadog API key and an Application key to read users and roles. Both are created under Organization Settings. EU-region accounts must also set the EU API base URL.

Open Datadog API settings

Required scope / permission

  • API key
  • Application key (requires the user_app_keys or org_app_keys_write permission)

Setup steps

  1. In Datadog, go to Organization Settings → API Keys and click New Key. Name it and copy the API key.
  2. Go to Organization Settings → Application Keys and click New Key. Name it and copy the Application key immediately (it may not be retrievable later).
  3. In Lutril, connect Datadog and paste the API key and Application key into their fields.
  4. If your account is on the EU site, set the API Base URL to https://api.datadoghq.eu/api/v2 in Lutril.
